Conclusion

6 January, 2015 - 12:28

We went on a tour of the most common Web technologies, languages and development tools in this module.

Designers who primarily focus on the front-end must know HTML or XHTML for coding and marking up webpages, Cascading Style Sheets for formatting and layout, and JavaScript for implementing interactive features running on the browser. For those who want to branch out to developing dynamic webpages, a knowledge of how HTML integrates with server-side technologies such as CGI, PHP or PERL is required.

Code editors and image editors are a must-have for building and producing websites and graphics.
