The ‘Open Textbooks for Hong Kong’ Project will participate in the Learning and Teaching Expo 2014.
Our Project Leader, Dr Yuen Kin-sun, will present at the Expo on 12th December 2014. The presentation topic is ‘Open Textbooks: a strategy for effective eLearning’. For abstracts, please go to http://www.ltexpo.com.hk/show/?page_id=6030
Moreover, in order to promote the adoption of Open Textbooks at schools, we will showcase our English Language open textbook series ‘Open English (P1-S6)’ at the Expo. By visiting our booth H07, teachers can:
1. Learn about our textbooks and teaching supports for teachers;
2. Grasp some ideas of the content design and multimedia technologies of the ‘Open English’ series;
3. Receive souvenirs and some FREE copies of the ‘Open English’ series.
4. Discuss with us about the textbook tryout at your schools; and
5. Register for the Project’s upcoming events for teachers.
