Open English (Secondary 1 to 6) is now on EDB’s Recommended Textbook List. The textbooks here are for schools’ preview only.

For schools - teachers may now download the latest version of Open English in PDF format for preview (login required).

For the general public – Materials that are available for download (login required) are:
  • Secondary 1 Unit 5 (student’s book and activity book)
  • Secondary 4 Unit 2 (student’s book)
Open English will be ready for adoption by schools for the 2016-17 school year.
