Ronald L. (Ron) Thompson is an associate professor of Management in the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA. His has published in a variety of journals, such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Omega, and Information & Management. Ron has served as an associate editor for MIS Quarterly, and has presented at national and international conferences. He holds a Ph.D. from the Ivey School at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. He has also served as a faculty member at the University of Calgary (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) and the University of Vermont (Burlington, Vermont, USA). His current research interests include communication in Information Systems (IS) projects and the use of advanced data analysis techniques in IS research.
