Figure 2.10 contains a narrative describing the cash receipts system for the Causeway Company. The first column indicates the paragraph number; the second column contains the line number for the text of the narrative. We describe here an orderly method for drawing the DFDs for the Causeway system. You will get the most benefit from this section if you follow the instructions carefully, perform each step as directed, and don’t read ahead. Draw your diagrams by hand or use the software package of your choice. |
