Improving productivity: the development of trust

The last of the six dimensions of organizational climate to be considered is teamwork. This is the feeling of belonging to an organization, characterized by cohesion, mutual warmth and support, trust, and pride. Such employees trust and respect each other while feeling personal loyalty and a sense of belonging to the company.

When a survey of the climate indicates that teamwork is low, it is management's responsibility to instill a feeling of trust and loyalty.
