A partnership continues after dissolution only for the purpose of winding up its business. The partnership is terminated when the winding up of its business is completed. 1 However, before winding up is completed, the partners—except any wrongfully dissociating—may agree to carry on the partnership, in which case it resumes business as if dissolution never happened. 2
