In the first phase of our research we designed and implemented a hierarchy of Java classes for distributional models which we included in a JAR library, to be used as an infrastructure for stochastic modelling and simulation. We present in subsection (The implementation of distributional models) the main distributions we implemented in this library. Based on this infrastructure we created e-learning scenarios to be used in a context of active learning, relying on practice and real world experiences. Subsection (Experiments with e-learning scenarios) shows some of these e-learning scenarios.
