DEMAND SIMILARITIES THEORY

5 November, 2015 - 11:56

The Demand Similarities Theory differs from the previous ones in that it focuses on the demand side rather than the production or supply side of an economy. Linder, the major proponent of this theory, 1 speculated that countries tend to produce and export products of the quality demanded by most people within their borders, and to import products geared primarily to minorities, either the very rich or the very poor.
